WELL OF WELLNESS (Session Summary)

Nourish to Glow

This week’s Well of Wellness session was a rich and uplifting continuation of our Nourish to Glow theme. We explored how wellness is an intentional journey of growth — one that touches our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and environmental wellbeing. With April marking the start of our new Wellness Year, we introduced our quarterly focus on Glow and Energy, setting the tone for a vibrant and nourishing season ahead.

We looked at why our plates matter, how colourful whole foods support the body, and why what we absorb is just as important as what we eat. We also introduced the idea of gentle nourishment — not dieting, not restriction, but feeding the body in a way that feels sustainable and kind.

Participants shared thoughtful questions and reflections, and the conversation flowed beautifully around practical food choices, digestion, and building balanced plates that work for real life.

Key Takeaways From the Session

  • Wellness is a lifelong journey that requires balance across all dimensions of health.
  • April marks the beginning of our new Wellness Year, with a fresh focus on the pillars of Glow and Energy.
  • We looked at how colourful, whole foods support digestion, energy, mood, and skin clarity.
  • We discussed the truth that we are not only what we eat, but what we absorb, and how cellular health affects nutrient uptake.
  • A gentle reminder of the ongoing 30-day Aloe Vera challenge which was introduced to support digestion and cleansing. Anyone interested can start anytime by just contacting me.
  • Nutritional gaps exist due to food processing, environment, lifestyle, and genetics.
  • We explored the idea of gentle nourishment, which focuses on sustainable, balanced lifestyle choices rather than restriction or dieting.

These themes created a beautiful foundation for understanding how small, consistent steps can transform how we feel from the inside out.

Understanding Nutritional Gaps & Supplementation

We explored why nutritional gaps are so common today. Even with healthy eating, factors like chemicals, pesticides, preservatives, pollution, digestive issues, lifestyle habits, activity levels, and genetics can affect how much nourishment the body actually receives.

A nutritional gap was defined as the difference between what the body needs to function optimally and what it actually gets from our foods. Supplements were explained as supportive additions — not replacements — that help bridge these gaps. They work best when paired with balanced eating, not instead of it.

Aloe Vera Gel & the 30-Day Challenge

We had a deep and engaging conversation about Aloe Vera Gel as a foundational daily support. Aloe was introduced as a gentle anchor that helps cleanse the surface of the cells, allowing the body to absorb nutrients more effectively. This is why many people who are already benefitting from the Aloe are not only what they eat, but what they absorb.

We explored Aloe’s adaptogenic nature — how it responds to each person’s unique needs — and the benefits many people notice with consistent use, including improved digestion, better nutrient absorption, increased energy, and gradual skin improvements over time.

I shared my own experience of drinking the Aloe for over 10 years, and participants added their reflections:

  • J. shared her own conclusion that Aloe “finds where the body needs help” and meets the need. She added she had noticed stronger nails since she had been on the Aloe.
  • I added that many people who are my customers have also experienced improved hair growth and wrinkle-free glowing skin.
  • I also shared the example of my grandson, who has been taking Aloe since six months old and has shown visible benefits in energy, hair, and skin.
  • B. asked whether Aloe helps digestion, and I confirmed that it absolutely does — with many people noticing increased energy after about four weeks.

We also mentioned the flavour options: Original, Berry Nectar, Peach, Mango, and the Freedom version for joint support.

Looking Ahead to Next Week

Next week, we’ll be diving into Energy & Vitality — simple, practical ways to support natural energy levels, uplift mood, and bring steadiness and strength into your daily rhythm. We’ll also begin our label-reading practice, so please bring along any pre-packaged items from your kitchen.

This Week’s final Gentle Reflection

Before each meal, pause and ask yourself: “Is this going to nourish me or drain me?”

These small moments of awareness shape long-term wellness.
