A versatile motivator, Olutoyin Ogunbanjo is a Christian Counsellor with special interest in Relationships, Behaviour Change and Total well-being with a broad wealth of professional knowledge and experience.
Olutoyin started out as a confidential secretary/personal assistant and in her quest for something more challenging, she ventured into journalism where she trained and worked in different capacities in the print and electronic media.
Her natural instinct to lend an emotional helping hand, found her becoming “Dear Comfort” – an “Agony Aunt” for Spear Magazine for a couple of years where she attended to letters from readers dealing with different kinds of emotional and relationship issues and looking for a way forward in their lives.
Her passion culminated into setting up a charity – Listening Ears in 2006 with the principal calling to provide “Comfort to the hurting”. The charity is currently based in London, UK but has the big vision of expanding into national and international capacity with a focus on breaking down the walls of isolation particularly among the elderly and empowering people to enjoy improved health and total wellbeing.
The charity organisation manages RoseBud Centre for Girls – a project that is committed to nurturing and mentoring girls and young ladies in readiness for their journey to Womanhood. The Charity also runs Feel Good Centres in different locations to provide companionship, friendship and exercise in a fun environment for the elderly.
In pursuance of excellence in her calling and relevance to her community, Olutoyin derives joy in mentoring other people who are called into setting up their organization or running projects that benefit members of their local community.
As a Wellness Coach, she empowers her clients to take very small steps of change to achieve major difference in their overall well-being. She provides consultancy and personal development support for individuals and groups through trainings and workshops delivered in different settings.
Her greatest excitement comes from seeing significant change in the lives of the beneficiaries of her support.
